Kubrick returned tired. He had been away from New Haven for days, far to the south in the lands of frozen waters. He made his way to the sleeping quarters and noticed a pile of letters on his desk.

"I can't, not now. I will deal with all this official business in the morning. I must sleep!" He said as he rolled over on the bed and feel asleep.
