I'm honestly very confused by this. The plugin is adding a function to the Bukkit scheduler and tells it that in X ticks, I want you to remove this guy from the list. However, 1 tick can be very different. Normally, 1 second is about 20 ticks but sometimes it is about 13-16. Now, this doesn't really matter when just doing it for like a couple of seconds but with these longer waitings the times can vary a ton.

The thing with it taking hours, I honestly have no idea. I will take this to the great minds of the Bukkit forums.
