"VIP plots" and shops: Questions, complaints and suggestions

I'm not really on any side here. I kind of agree that nothing should be 100% protected but I see why people want to protect their stuff. It's not great times when you've been mining diamonds for hours and they are all stolen.

The problem is that while there is awesome theif clans, there are also those who don't like to RP and just steal because it's allowed.

On the topic of shop protection, Kubrick has been working on more detailed rules but since he is AWOL we may have to wait. I can respond to your questions though.

1. Shops should be visible to the public, that's it. If they aren't it's pretty obvious that you are abusing the system. If a thief finds a shop like this they are free to report it to a moderator.
2. Other items can be stored in the shop, this is a flaw with the shop plugin. However, it IS NOT allowed to store other items than what is being sold.
3. If a shop is found abusing the system, it is simply removed from the world permanently. I know it may not be the best solution though. The ban is depending on how serious the crime is but we are generally pretty hard.
