I fail to understand why you think that I am doing this for personal gain. You would do the same thing for your band of thieves as I did for the honest and trustworthy people of Kiwike... Or perhaps you wouldn't, and that is why you don't understand; because you do not realize that sometimes deceit is required to take down an enemy that is jeopardizing the well-being of every person on the server.
I only plotted to bring you down because you plan to bring down each and every member of Kiwike, forcing them on their knees and having them pay dearly just to keep their valuables safe from you. You have become the Kiwikian Mafia. So, tell me, is it not all right to try to take down the Mafia, or should they carry on terrorizing innocent people because doing otherwise would be "dishonorable"?
If you are taken down, it will not be I who takes the credit. The glory will go to your victims, who rose up to snuff the flame atop the candle of Kiwike that was melting far too much wax. So, I won't take you down. We will.
Perhaps we have become a Kiwike mafia of sorts and I am the godfather of my guild family.
You know, in ancient Rome when someone tried to kill their father they were rewarded with a uniquely painful punishment. First they were beaten with knotted whips until the blood ran down their backs. Then salt was rubbed into the open wounds. Next they would take the individual (missing most of his skin at this point) and stick him in a leather sack, they would also put an angry viper, dog, rooster and monkey into the sack. They would then tie the sack up, shake it a bit, and throw it into the river Tiber where the person would finally drown, skinless and torn apart by the three animals, but alive enough to experience the excitement of being in a bag with four other drowning animals.
The nature of the father did not matter. If the father was a cruel criminal and you plotted to kill him it was no less dishonourable than if the father was a law-abiding, well loved and respected citizen. In Rome a new idea was born that it is always dishonourable to betray a man who took you under his wing, offered you protection, and gave you all he had to offer. It takes a special kind of person to betray a man who gave all that he had to give to that person. Special people deserve special punishment. A Roman citizen could be sentenced to death for only two things, Parricide as mentioned above or Treachery (traitors would be hurled off the Tarpean rock to smash to pieces on the ground below), you have attempted both and still you try to claim yourself "honourable".
Anyway, by the time this is done you will wish you had been monkey-sacked.
