Name: Saurota Rurei Jurenai
Nick name: Saur or Dargon
IC age: 437 human years. 17 Dragonica years
Race: Dragonica
Hobby: Setting things on fire.
Guild: None, at the moment.
Background: In a faraway place, far off from the realms of Kiwike, there is a land where the elements live to create balance and peace, but only if they work together. This land was not only a nation, nor a town, nor only a continent, but it was a planet itself. This planet was known as "šest elemenata." Each element had their own race of peacekeepers that they were allowed to create. Because there were 6 different elements, there were 6 different races as well.
Water had Hydras, which were deadly and swift, able to merge with almost any situation.
Air had Will-o-Wisps, which were the first species created, and also the wisest of them all.
Earth had Medusas, which were able to paralyze it's enemies in it's tracks with a single glance.
Fire had Dragons, who's flames could turn even the strongest of minerals and steels to ashes.
Light had Angels, who's wings could shine over anything and revitalize it in seconds.
and Dark had Shades, masters of stealth and impervious to physical attacks.
These creatures lived in peace with one another for millenniums to come. Until one day, during the spawning of the new generation of species of each element... something went awry. They all seemed to have evolved into new species which pertained to the previous species that it had evolved from. Each species had gained a power that overpowered one other element.
Hydras evolved into Ceteas (only those who know Greek mythology will know what they are ), much like the ones from the Greek mythology. The only difference was that these ones could summon tidal-waves with only a single word, which easily took down the flames of the Fire domain.
Will-o-Wisps evolved into Storm Souls, which were floating humanoid spirits, kings of the Air domain. Their electrical personalities not only empowered their vast intelligence, but they could control the electric power and zap the hell out of the Water domain, turning the liquid into steam.
Medusas evolved into Basilisks, whose large stone bodies were impervious to the electric and air powers of the Air domain. Making the Air domain an easy target.
Dragons evolved into Dragonica, this may not have been much of an evolution, but the power just came in a smaller package with even more power packed right in it. The Dragonica still had wings, but had even more powerful flame-breath than before, which could burn right through the hard bodies of the Earth domain's creatures.
Angels evolved into Archangels, now experienced sword fighters, they were able to imbue their weaponry with their light and slash right through the Dark domain's creatures.
Shades evolved into Daemons, the evil aura could just be seen radiating off of them from miles away. Their long-range specialty allowed them to get the jump on people without them expecting it, but their favorite target was the Light domain.
Needless to say, with their newly discovered powers, they declared war on one another. All of the base elements were able to keep the battle on edge because one was stronger than the other, and that other had an enemy, and that enemy had a foe right behind it. But light and dark were the main problems. Their matches were too even, the fights got too intense, and no one else was able to help them, so the fights between them soon got in between the base elements' battles and sent everything awry. Because all of the elements weren't working together to keep the planet in balance, the core soon began to rot.
One child, of the fire kin, tired of the fighting and knowing of the core's problem, set off to try and stop all of the war before it was too late. He went into his Domain's capital building, the Flame Spire, in search of any sort of intelligence that could help. Whilst in search of a certain book he had found before, he stumbled across a secret passage way when he tripped and knocked a goblet off of it's shelf. The weight loss had caused a mechanism to activate, and a door in the corner opened. Curious as to what it was, he went inside. It was pitch dark, so he made a steady trickle of flame from his muzzle to light his path. He eventually came across a library, long forgotten and abandoned, filled to the brim with books emanating with dark auras. He walked over to the one on a pedestal in the middle of the room, titled with some ancient language not even he knew how to decipher. Again curious, he opened up the book, but his mind was immediately filled with images of his home world being destroyed, an ominous voice screaming words that were barely audible to him. They sounded as if they were in a completely different language, one he had never heard of before. The only thing that came to mind to do was to repeat the words, "Laputae de un babalos."
Almost immediately, the screaming stopped, the book SLAMMED shut, and he was now glowing with a dark-red aura, floating upwards and out of the library. He tried to fly back down to his planet, but to no end, no matter how much he tried, he was unable to do so, the pull just got stronger. As he was lifted into the air, a big red light shone above the Flame Spire. This light resembled a small sun, and it flew straight into the core. As soon as this happened, the world began to shake. Saurota looked in horror to what was going on. The world had become unbalanced. Tsunamis, Volcanic Eruptions, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, all happening at once. He tried to say the words again in hopes that it would reverse the spell, but it just seemed to make everything worse. As the world met it's end, the aura teleported him away from there. But before he left, he thought one thing... It's his fault.
Years later, he woke up on a strange sandy substance which was near water. He opened his eyes to see what was going on, but it was dark out. He attempted to make fire from his muzzle to light his way again, but nothing happened. The spell had caused him to lose his ability to breathe fire and also, it caused him to be unable to fly as well. Suddenly, he was surrounded by strange creatures of the night. Green men, white bony figures that shot projectiles at him, multi-appendaged black creatures, and giant green objects that hissed when they got near. Saur became instantly afraid, unable to make heads or tails of the situation. He backed up as they slowly got closer and closer, until he felt something, he picked it up and looked at it for a split second. It was a Flint & Tinder. He had no clue what it was for, but he used it and found that it created fire. He instantly became attached to the object and took out all of the mobs with ease.
When everything was cleared out, he dug himself a hole, a place where he could think. When he was protected, he thought of his home planet, all of his friends, family, the others as well, all exterminated because of him. He knew it was an accident, but he should have known it was forbidden magic if it was locked away like that. He then spent the rest of the night crying, alone in the hole, in the place where he thought he would die for sure. After a short time when morning came, he was able to come out, and view the world properly. He looked around, saw pink creatures with strange eyes, and black and brown creatures with the same type of eyes, white creatures with STILL the same type of eyes.
He was creeped out by the eyes that were on these beings, but he found one creature that had normal eyes, but it was rather small. It was a tiny creature that had white feathers for an outer-coating, a large orange bump where it's mouth should be, and it made a calm "Cluck cluck cluck" sound whenever he got near it. He felt as if he liked the creature and the creature seemed to like him, as it would follow him around. He decided to name it after his god that he worshiped back on his home-planet, Tiamat, so he named it Tia.
Using the resources around him, he built a small abode for him and his feathery companion. When it was finished, he brought his friend inside for the night and slept in the bed he had recently crafted. He was slowly getting used to this world, whatever it was called... He fell asleep, spent for the day.
The next morning, he went outside with his friend. Enjoying the sunrise, he was completely distracted. One of the giant green creatures came from nowhere, hissed, and killed his friend and destroyed part of his home faster than he could react. Distraught, he tried to revive his friend with the egg that was left behind, but to no extent, one did not appear as he threw the egg. He was injured beyond his belief, and would have surely died if a traveling passerby who gave him something to eat and patched his wounds up.
Grateful to this passerby, he pledged to serve him in hopes he would gain more knowlege of the world around him. Holding his trusted Flint & Steel, he set off with the other and traveled the lands. Later, he found out the world he was on was known as "Kiwike", and at that moment, many things were happening in that world. People dying constantly, wars being fought whether it be against others or themselves, betrayal, and spite among the others as well.
It was months before he got up the courage to ask if he could set out on his own. His master said it was alright if he had left any time before that. Again, grateful, he said he would protect everyone who needed protection, and he made a blood pact to this with the now ex-master in order to ensure his duties were able to be done.
He then became a nomad, wandering around, trying to find somewhere to settle down, but to no extent. He is currently in a town which pertains to something he likes, explosions. He hopes that he would not have to do any fighting against others for pleasure or revenge, only for reason and defense.
This is a brand new world, a brand new beginning, for the life of Saurota.
The dragon of peace wishes no harm come to the ones he will protect.
