And it would be nice to be able to set down an enchanting table permanently. On the temp server I had to set it down and pick it up constantly and stash it away somewhere secret every time, meaning replacing the specific blocks that I used for it each time.

What a delightfully unbiased opinion you have towards different players. Mellow

I think taking enchantment tables should be grief, technically, since it is like taking glowstone - it's not a specifically defined 'valuable ore' and it serves the same purpose as the utilized furnaces and crafting tables. Taking/breaking any of those three items would be considered grief, so it should be considered a grief.

Meanwhile, breaking floor and wall blocks to search for chests or break into a building should not be considered grief, as long as the whole wall isn't torn down. I understand that some complain that the raider should replace the blocks, but have you ever heard of a burglar fixing the window he climbed through (outside a court sentence) or pillagers putting doors back up after they steal your women out of your house? It doesn't happen. If you have such a problem with people breaking trivial things like wood planks, windows, and glass, go join a town.

Last but not least, stealing crops (either through them being unprotected or trampled) should be allowed. Wheat isn't exactly a resource worth punishing over, but it's not exactly hard to protect either. If your RP character is raiding and wants wheat, they should be able to steal from the farms too. But what if that was their whole livelyhood and they don't have anymore melon or netherwarts? Smart kids for leaving them all vulnerable.

Crash, I agree with you on the griefing part partially. But the problem is that someone could cut loopholes through an entire house just to piss someone off and then say it was to search for chests.

I wish I was an insane space wizard.

I understand that, but if it's obviously just a hole for the hell of making a hole then griefing would apply. Otherwise, they'd have to cut down a few more trees..

An interesting point of view coming from the guy who announced that everyone has to be a nomad during the First Age of Revamped. Fuck that / Yao Ming

Cerce seems to be taking down everything. It's way to bad the quote is right below the post. This anger rampage is getting way out of hand.
