Well if we add in some food mod involving fruits that grant whacky powers . . . Tongue

I think removing the ability to swim would add yet another aspcet of danger and fun to the map. XD

This would be sick for the official map, and maybe instead of a second map you could
Go to one edge, like if the map is 5000x5000 then on the east edge at 5000 it could continue on I'm that direction for say 3000-5000 more blocks and it could be just for ships, a giant ocean right there and future nations can set up small ports and pirate ports can be created. That way you can still mine on the mainland
And when your ready with a crew you can venture off and there can e islands with treasures and dungeons at sea, ext.

Honestly doesn't sound like Minecraft any more.

I personally think any server that could accomplish this efficiently (with controls like our kiwiships) would be genius. It'd be so much fun to have the option to become a pirate or what ever.

There are seeds out there for this, Ill find them. Also I think we should keep mining involved but the ocean would be large. I had a map on 1.8 it was small islands that were big sort've but it depends how big you want them. We could make Islands that are about 2000 blocks of land including mountains etc. The ships are a good idea, and perhaps we could make a less laggy, faster Kiwiships for water. So whatever you want to do with it. Also, it would be really cool to have Docks for larger ships in the water. It would be pretty cool.

Well I wanted to keep islands small to prevent people from making bases.

Yeah, this probably will never happen but it'd be pretty sick. If it was functional it could be a separate world that you enter via a portal in a key town of revamped and once tere your on a medium sized island with houses, docks, ext. kinda a pirate town, and from there you could rent a dock or a building platform and start building your ship. Idk I think this would be really sweet, then nations as it gets later in the ages could buy larger islands to build a nation dock on that could be further away somewhere in the ocean, this island would have to be edited in but to make it somewhat realistic admins could make them look like a small volcano coming out of the ocean much like reality.
