How do we handle death in RP?

umm.. considering a lot of our characters are refugees and randomly washed up in Kiwike, it can't really be expected that our mothers are just chillin around waiting to dump us out every five minutes..

by god, could you imagine raids? like after the fifth death we'd be walking out that tunnel o' magic for god's sake

i do like the idea of a curse/blessing put upon the land. it could be that after the creation the energy that was left in the world had the side effect of making it so people can't die (referring to the creation lore)

we could each relate it to our own characters religion and beliefs (each character has his/her's own ideas of why they're being revived), like my character's family is believed to be the reincarnation of Jorn the king of the gods, so he believes that he's revived every time he dies valiantly or with great suffering

Lets just put this here so people can see.
We do have a lore behind kiwike. but lore does not mean this is a fact.
Its a myth found somewhere read somewhere, people are free to be-leave what they want. we actually encourage it.

About the business of dying.
A death does not mean you're character dies forever and you have to start over.
Now stating this it might be possible to do this if you have a good reason, or get so fed up with you're current character that he might die so you can start a-new. but that's a whole difference case.

Death in kiwike means you're material body dies. the spirit of you travels back to one of the places you bound it to. may it be one of the four spawns, or you're simple bed. where there a new material body is formed from -something- and you start anew without the things you had on you.

Inside this orange lies an infinite supply of candy and gold, and if found, you would become the richest man alive!
