RE: Spoutcraft shaders
For some reason only the shaders option is available to me for graphics settings, everything else is grayed out, anyone know how to change this?

RE: Spoutcraft shaders
Either your computer does not support it or you need to change it from something like "auto" or "balanced" to "custom"

Yep there is 4 options, which are like Config for Performance, balanced,Appearance or Custom. Select custom and all options will become edit able

RE: Spoutcraft shaders
K, got that.
It seems that it doesn't like Shader + Far view distance, also, the lighting is rather spastic . . . doubt I'll keep it on.

Yeah, I got Far View and the Shader going and the lightning is indeed weird. Never really bothered to troubleshoot.
But thanks for saying what the problem might be.

RE: Spoutcraft shaders
Far view causes insane amounts of lag when paired with the shaders, unless, of course, you have an exceptionally beastly rig.

RE: Spoutcraft shaders
Apparently so. That's an undesirable outcome. Try allocating more RAM to Spout.

RE: Spoutcraft shaders
The shaders really only require a good graphics card to run well. And that's quite funny gecko, since I play perfectly fine on far and with shaders on high
