Realistic? Yes. Convenient? No. Roleplay-oriented? Eh, kinda.

Looks like a good idea to me, and for other 'realism' roleplayers, but I doubt that the good idea compensates for the lack of convenience. It would suck if I was going to buy a tricked out Kiwiship, or maybe buying a castle/collection of houses and I had to make more than one trip to pay for it, but otherwise I would like it. However, most people probably won't, and for good reasons too.

Yes please. This would give everyone an excuse to KOS, and you all know I want KOS'ing back. I hate having to spend 30 minutes describing to players how I'm going to cook their flesh and drink their blood out of their disembodied skulls before I get to kill.

Depends on what you want to achieve. You don't have to kill someone to get his gold.
If the reason is (Revenge, war, ect.) you don't have to justify the kill to him in my opinion.
But then again you have to ask yourself before it, is it really a reason to kill?
There are many ways to get revenge.
