Why can't you change nameplates? It is information sent from the Kiwike server, meaning it should be possible for a plugin to change the nameplate you see, but I might be wrong. I think Yotta would know best.

We started the use of gray for OOC and white for local with the beginning of Revamped and I've easily grown accustomed. I honestly can't see myself thinking the darker chat is someone speaking to me in local, so from experience, I can tell you that you'll get used to it.

Furthermore, one can easily use /leave ooc to stop the distractions.

We wouldn't need it for nameplates - it's use would be in local chat. That way /me would be a lot less OOC.

We can but it would render skins unusable. Also 15 characters limit.

Aww. So, it would undoubtedly be a large operation if that were to successfully be pulled off.
