RE: Problems With New Currency
we shouldn't base this economy off of 2.0 at all a because as far as revamped will be concerned 2.0 never existed thus the prices of items in 2.0 never existed. just my 2 cents

The LORE from 2.0 never existed. That doesn't mean that goldConcentratediamond mining ratios changed. You guys can only pull that to such an extent.

Yes but the economy was pretty fucked up so you don't want to use that but you could I guess.

I say create a new economy based on what players think is fair. You dont need some complex conversion system. Just put up a price and if no one buys lower it until they do. Its how real companies do it today.

RE: Problems With New Currency
To be clear, do we want the ingots to have a lot of value or not? We need an average approximation of where should be basing our price - you can't say that we can't use the old pricing system multiplied by nine if we have nothing else to compare to. Either things are going to be very expensive or really cheap compared to 2.0.

Wait. I just did a double-take. Tristo... That is a well-illustrated and valid point!

I do believe that's what we did with 2.0, and look at us now not wishing to make the same mistake.

Tsk tsk, Mr. Tristo.
