Plus of course any rules the House of Commerce comes up with. The House will be filled with members from all of the towns of the nation so expect the utmost fairness.

Android, Or Nfmous. Can you give me some more detail on the Nation tax. As to a rough idea on it? I have already started planning my city, and i'm pretty sure depending on the value of the tax, or what is required, and when it is required, i can plan out some sort of system for my town. Thanks.

RE: The Nation of Helvanthar
Hey, could you tell a bit more on how your political system is gonna work? I don't want my Senate/Council system to be a direct replica (or vice versa), and I also don't wanna completely go against your nation's view of things. I'm striving for a medium between the Republic of Helvanthar and the Vikings, but more organized than the Vikings, less 'free' than Helvanthar, so I don't really want to lean too much to one side or another.

Also, I was wondering if we are allowed to form diplomatic relations before the actual 2.0 is started; if so, we have much to discuss, if I do indeed get Cerantia up on its feet. So far we got 3 members, with another one possibly on the way, from what I hear.

Ofcourse.

We are only so "Free" lol, there will be rules in place and a very strict law system (only during war). However we will not be a tyrannic government.
What we do is for the "Good" of the people. We are a democratic hybrid.

The stuff I put up there last time is pretty much everything, but in times of war, stuff like that laws will go in-affect to help us out however you can (since we we will have an army/civilian/political branches in our nation) we just ask those who are not in the army to help out by maybe donating some diamonds, some food (much needed), maybe some gold to the national bank.

By donating we mean please do so, we won't commit you to death for not giving us your stuff lol.

Awright, thanks. In hindsight, I think my nation is a little more lax in laws and freedom... Kinda ironic, seing as how in my lore Cerce comes from an island of bloodthirsty vikings. You'd think he'd have teamed up with Suba, if it wasn't for his belief in Cerantianity.

RE: The Nation of Helvanthar
All right! I've given the subject some thought, and I've decided that having an admissions price seems rather counterproductive. Rather, I have decided that the first four people to help me build will become the managers of the four districts (mining, commercial, residential, and creative) as compensation for their help. So, if you would like to help build New Rapture and manage one of the four districts, either reply to this post or shoot me an email at [email protected] telling me your IGN and what district you would like to manage. But dont do so until you've READ THE ENTIRE POST!!! Also, you don't have to live in New Rapture if you help; however, you must be part of the Nation of Helvanthar or a nomad.

-----------------------------

Here are the descriptions for what each district manager will do:

Creative District (where people build random creations):

You determine how much space someone is allowed to build in, as well as what is appropriate to be built. If you deem a creation inappropriate, you can give its creator a warning to take it down. If he refuses, then you can do the honors. This manager has to be the most trustworthy; he'll have to exercise this power only when it is appropriate to exercise. Also, he can expand the district as he pleases. This is the one district without a set shape, so its manager can get creative (C wut I did thar? Laugh).

Commercial District (where all the shops are at):

This is an easy one to build, but a hard one to manage. It's a long  4x4 hallway with shops branching off of it. It's your job to determine the maximum size of a shop, as well as how much the owner should pay to expand it. You must also make sure that all the shops aren't selling the same things.

Mining District:

Slightly more difficult to build than the Commercial District, this is a long 4X4 hallway with mines branching off of it. You must figure out what the glass rooms that the mines are in look like, as well as their size, and build them. Each citizen will have their own mine, so this may be an ongoing job; however, it shouldn't be too difficult. It's also your job to determine how to prevent citizens' mine shafts from interfering with each other; for example, large spacing between mines, limits on how far citizens can dig in the direction of other mines, etc.; it's up to you.

Residential District:

Since houses won't be physically connected to the rest of the city, you won't have much building to do. However, it's your job to build the main airlock leading outside that citizens will exit to swim to their houses. Also, you must make sure houses aren't spaced too far apart; citizens will have to clear the location of their house with you before building. In addition, you need to keep houses from being built far away from the city; houses that are too far away wouldn't have block protection, and therefore would not be part of the city. But these are mostly things you'll be responsible for as manager of the district; in order to earn the position, you will help me build the main tower and the entrance tube.

Well, that's about it. If somehow more than four people want to be district managers, then I will choose the person who emailed me first for the position; however, if somebody bails, then the next person will get the job.

One last thing:

This is one of the most ambitious (and epic) projects ever attempted in the history of Kiwike. It will take a few hours, and your fingers will get sore from clicking, but in the end, it will pay off. If you are not up to the challenge of building New Rapture. However (initiate Andrew Ryan mode) if you believe that a man deserves to get out of life what he puts into it, and if you believe that hard labor is worth it for the end product, then go ahead and send me that application at [email protected].
