RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
I agree that the server needs some refreshment. While I don't think Crash should be promoted to admin (Sorry Crash) I do think that Saera should be promoted to Admin, and a new moderator chosen from the remaining active players. I would nominate myself... but there's many more senior players here that deserve it. I think Crash, Unreal, or Whitey would be the prime people to consider for this spot.

Crash for Something 2012
I shiggy, and throw my support. One of my peeves were the contradicting and lax rulings handed out by mods while I was more active. It's be nice for that not to be a thing.

RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
If we are on the topic of Moderators, I would suggest either Whitey or Unreal, no offense to Crash or Drew. As for a new Admin, I would also have to say Saera. She is the best for the position.

RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
My stance is that the server needs change up the staff - while I think some players would make extremely good mods and probably would have made great admins at some point, the staff doesn't exactly need to reinforce itself.
Saera is a great moderator, and she probably deserves the position as admin - but would that actually make a difference?

RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
Feel free to say more than just "server is ded" cause we all know that. More specific feedback. And suggestions. Needs more suggestions. Making Crash or Saera admins wouldn't actually change anything.

RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
Make the moderators stay active, or kick them out. The whole 'we have more than enough moderators' hasn't actually applied for three months now and counting. I understand you've all bonded through your time as staff together, but face the facts and realize that most of the staff shouldn't be staff. Why not make them like, yotta's finest er something if you still want a title.
Moderate instead of punish when you can help it - solve the situation, work with both sides, and be reasonable instead of simply banning one side and calling it a day. I understand there is a need for banning, but this is also a minecraft server (with rollback too nonetheless) - how much damage can they actually do?
Actually advertise the server - Minecraft forums and a few lame youtube videos don't make people want to join the server. Look at other RP servers (Mel-Lenxia, if I recall correctly, is a great example) for how they advertise. Somehow I doubt we'd even be so low on money as to pay for a small banner anywhere.
Hell, maybe even give some incentive to play - lotto a steam game to active players every few months or something.
Put the Kiwike logo up on some merchandise - Society6 is just one example of an online distributor for custom art without significant investment. T-shirts anyone?
Clean up the server, or even make some RP related structures that people can actually use. Hire builders from the player base instead of limiting it to the already over-priviledges staff - have them apply for build permissions and let them use creative mode (may want to monitor that however) for awesome RP structures they would previously be unable to build.
Detail the rules down to the point if you are going to be completely strict - which I don't advise. Hypocrisy, ignorance, bias, laziness, and spite are not anything that should influence judgements of moderators. Certain situations, in my opinion, should allow for deviations of action that would solve the situation accordingly and reasonably.
Monitor the theme of the server - the Inn is a pig sty, while meaningless crap and unfinished construct litter the map. Enforce building codes and such. In a certain setting, a theme should flow constantly - unless there is an actual RP reason for deviation. Towns don't look good otherwise. Setting is part of the RP too.
Unban all of the people who legitimately want to play. If somebody wants to be on the server - why not let them if they are willing to be a contributing member? It's not as if we can be so selective at this point. Make them all reapply, or at very least have a good conversation with them about how they will be continuing their RP.
WHAT IF THEY GRIEF? WHAT IF THEY DON'T BEHAVE? Guess what? You can ban them again if you really must.
Add creative back. Nothing in 2.0 summarized our server better than the pixel art, half-destroyed redstone contraptions, and blueprints from /c. If you're worried about combat logging, or people failing to RP with such a distraction, add a timer or limit access. Yes, people would spend a lot of time in creative initially, but it would at very least get people online.
Add the stair-sitting plugin, that multiple skin plug-in lilwhitey is always talking about, or add other plug-ins that would add to RP. Fix kiwiships to the best of your ability, or restart it entirely. It's not fair to advertise such great possibilities, and then have it travel slower then pig, lag, or break.
Code the war plug-in, and finish Territories to it's finest. Also, either tend to, or manage the current nations more actively. We need to get to work on what should have been the climax of Kiwike Revamped. Let warmongers thrive, alliances strengthen or dwindle, and give people that reason to be online.
Give wiki-moderators and forum moderators in-game titles.
Give each sponsor an NPC for RP use (if Crazy is willing, I heard he likes making them..) - some old or inactive sponsors may show up to claim their NPC, and at very least some active players will marvel at their new companions.
I probably have more suggestions, but those are just some off the top of my head.
Make me an Admin, Mod, or at very least take these suggestions and use them.
I would change things - if you would let me. <3

That won my vote
Also facebook page would help a little. it would be far easier to advertise in America at least.
