RE: Ban Appeal (Hear me out)
Just saying I'm all for the unbanning of people, but if the staff is looking at unbanning one person because they "want to play" then just unban everyone.

Well since you guys are all complaining about server government (or something like that. It's been a while lol), why not? Yotta could reset the server, unban everyone, and start again new. As well as some revitalization in the staff and re-evaluation of some rules. Just an idea ;)

Anyways back to me, all I'm saying is that I think I was wrongfully banned for the Midlands grief. I didn't take park in it, I was only a bystander.

Seeing as the aforementioned incident was orchestrated by me as well as primarily executed by me, I am posting to exonerate chipmonk. He stood by the sidelines, occasionally voicing the opinion that this might be a bit of a bad idea. Though he was the only one present besides myself, he, in his own words, "Came along to watch".

That's not what the OP was about at all.

Neither was this.

I don't expect any modicum of gentlemanly conduct about my post, nor do I expect an unban myself. I'm merely posting to attempt to exonerate chipmonk.

Weeeeell. In my personal opinion, if you know that they were intending to greif, and you didn't report them. That's ban worthy. But wanting to come along to watch for the lols is another step up. You should stay banned. Regardless of how much you like the people, you are obligated to the server to report all rules broken. For example, Alexander is my friend, but I'm obligated to report that he was using an xray texture pack today to look for me in a game of hide-in-seek.

Well that's why they're called opinions now isn't it? Show me where in the rules it says that I can't watch someone grief or else I'll get in trouble for it. Plus even if I did want to report it, nobody was on AND it would have been out of character. Some people on this server happen to take things like that very seriously.

Why are you even making this ban appeal? I just did a quick search of all your posts to find this: (NOTE: If you will be scarred by foul language, do not click 'Spoiler'.)

This ban isn't going to be repealed. Nice try.

RE: Ban Appeal (Hear me out)
Gecko back up for a second, that post was made the day after the griefing when he utterly supported the cause for it. He understands what he did (we have been discussing all this on steam). He isn't saying "I did nothing wrong unban me" he is asking partially to be forgiven and also just to back it up claiming that he never actually griefed.

I am just going to clearly flat out state that our intentions are to maybe earn the trust of you all again and come back to the server. I know this is probably unrealistic, but we would like to rejoin assuming things do change. I figured if chipmonk could be unbanned it might provide something towards that goal. I know right now it sounds like he is just being a massive dick right now saying "I did nothing wrong" but trust me we know what we did. He isn't asking for you to just straight up ignore what he has done, he is asking if he might be forgiven.

I'd also like to just point out that do you really think we would wait this long and attempt to get unbanned simply to stab you all in the back again? I know that this isn't entirely about whether you think it will happen again, and also that it is simply the consequences of griefing. But i'm asking you to just CONSIDER if you could forgive chipmonk at least. If this doesn't change your mind at all that is absolutely fine. I just thought I would post this in case it clarified something.

EDIT: Because you aren't on steam right now, chipmonk that post was utterly retarded.

If you'd like the cold, solid facts. Find me in the rules where it says one cannot watch a grief? I'm not saying I support this, but if its not in the rules, its not ban worthy. Oh, and that "Exception" under the griefing rule is bullshit, and doesn't count.

Indeed, the 'exceptions' part is an excellent demonstration of the flimsiness of former rulings.

I feel as though witnessing, or knowing about plans to grief, is in the imaginary rulebook next to PvPing too well.
