Which is why we should add this form of messaging in game - just as a fun way of making communication strategic and limited. Also, if people choose to use skype or teamspeak as a counterpart it only entangles our community further.

Yotta is here referring to the Skype chat made for the BUILDERS of the PREVIOUS idea for the RP server, which has long since been abandoned due to developments in the way we're going about making the server. We have already had multiple meetings per weekend regarding the server on our RP server STAFF chat, and are in the process of constantly cementing new features. Plugins for the server are already in development. We now await the creation of the map itself, at which point we will begin building and working towards our already set deadline for the release of the server.
So, no. The RP server is not just some dead Skype chat.
