It's pretty hard not to be hyped though. Every reaction ive seen from people testing it has been very positive and trust me, I've watched a lot of videos.
We should make kiwike a game developer thing and make rift games. We'd be bill gates in no time.

Sorry to necro this old thread, just wanted to post this.
I must admit, I was skeptical at first, but after seeing a few of the tech demos and peoples' recordings, I'm impressed and can't wait to see how development goes.
I'm debating whether the rift would be usable as an output device to work with rather than play games with (think writing code, creating art and other stuff in the likes). It seems doable but I'm afraid it would be hard navigating on a draw pad at first.
