RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
Well, to sum it up nice and tidy;

The 2 most important things to make the server grow again.

1. Better marketing. Ads all over the place.

2. More fleshed out and obvious Roleplaying. Make the roleplaying part of the website stand out more than the rest.

I wish I was an insane space wizard.

I say unban all of those who make a really nice whitelist, if they really make a good attempt at playing fairly then let them play, if they fuck up again, ban them and role it back.

The problem with marketing Kiwike is that the server is not high-income, and most of the money is put back in already. Unless we're talking about Youtube videos and voting sites, there's really not a whole lot that we can do. Also, quick note, I do not know of all the RP events that go on in Kiwike, so I can not put them all on the wiki. If we can get people involved in various events to put information about the events on the wiki, that'd be awesome. Don't even worry about formatting, I can do that myself. I just need help in keeping up with what's happening

Well, the problem is that there really is not much happening because of the asocial nature of everyone on the server. That's why we needed arranged events.

I'm more referring to past events, many of which are also not documented

Well, there's still the problem of the Wiki not being noticeable and not very well organized. It needs to be obvious that this is a serious RP server, it is not.

Edit: Organization might be wrong, haven't checked in ages. Apologies if it is.

If it has been discussed among the staff, it should be acted on one way or another. The staff (with several exceptions) has an apparent habit as of late to disregard or take no stance/action on any situation they are not directly involved with. Ian's ban appeal, though (apparently) rejected, has still not been responded to with anything more than 'the staff will discuss this and we will get back to you'. If it takes an uprising to act about this sort of thing, or to even address the community about these issues, there is a problem with the current staff.

Solitude did RP, though it was disputed for the pure violence it brought about - in their final days they even posted an ultimatum to the nations they were raiding. This ultimatum was, instead of being responded to seriously, considered by all the offended to be an attempt at trolling while it was an honest attempt at playing the bad guy. Yes, they did troll and act like dicks - which, though comical or immature from one perspective, was still fitting within the ideal of being villains.

They did know how to roleplay, and up until their final days (where they knew they were going to be banned out of public distaste) they did generally try to stay within the rules - they did not grief any property or attack anybody they did not have an RP reason to (no matter how much one can say they did). Their last actions (forum spamming) though immature, was [almost] deserved considering the bias and flaming that they were shown constantly.

By the same logic, they were douchebags as much as anybody else involved in the quarrel *cough cough bowser cough riskae cough smythie cough cough* (sorry bad flu going around) - they were simply the better PvPers.

Yes, I will vouch for them - and yes, I believe they were unjustly banned. If you can /honestly/ say you heard every side of the story and made a fair, reasonable judgement toward them then it wouldn't be my place to argue for them. Though they were my friends, I only argue this because I believe they were treated unfairly due to their history on old maps and the exaggeration of those they 'offended' (which noticeably doesn't happen as much since Promethia became inactive).

We told you and Ian that his ban appeal wouldn't be accepted. Not sure how much more direct you wanted us to get, Ye Olde Omitter-of-Facts.

On the thread itself, perhaps, in a manner than can be assessed and grown upon?

The condescension is much appreciated, however. It really makes me feel as though my opinion counts for something around here.

RE: CRASH 4 ADMIN 2012
We need to take the money from the people who can afford to pay some more, to support the ones in need. Our society needs to be less egotistical, if we do not work together to help each other, we will not be a society for much longer. Capitalism is promoting greediness and egocentric behaviour that will only result in the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. The rich do not need the money, the poor do. So help each other, and you will receive help.

Vote Crazy for President 2012.
