Poll: Thoughts on this

I would've made this a private message or something, but I'd like to see what others think about this. I'm sorry if this shouldn't have been posted in the forums for some reason.

Squiggley1, and I were visiting Dracko today, hoping to be able to pay for our hamlet. We walked around and met up with Maxono. Maxono started going berzerk about how we were outsiders, and shot Squiggley1 twice. Squiggley1 shot back. Eventually we brushed it off and decided to leave. Squiggley1 logged out, and I wanted to walk home. So I walked to the gate tower and attempted to open the fence.
The next thing I knew, water was flowing under my feet and flowing me off the tower. I looked up as I was falling and saw Maxono, holding an empty bucket, looking down at me from the tower.
I flew a few curse words, but shut up when I was told to. I ended up with 0.5 health, and all my armor broken. I walked back up, and hit Maxono with my iron sword hoping to do only minimal damage. He died... I quickly grabbed the drops and sprinted for the levers, then to the gate. Before I could get down, Maxono killed me. I ended up spawned back at my almost-hamlet (Maxono scared us off before we could figure out how to make it official).

That was about 10 minutes ago. Any comments on this situation? I'd rather not have a lifelong grudge against Maxono, but that seems inevitable now.

Well killing outsiders is kinda the thing to do in Kiwike, they can be enemys, or not, no one knows.
Best thing to do is take up with the Leader of Dracko, see what can be done

Well, yes. But what if they're a technically, nomadic trader who wishes to sell gunpowder to their town? (<-- me)

As far as i am aware, Dracko does not have a "kill on sight" policy.
I have been there several times without getting shot at or even threatened.
Were a you wielding swords or anything that might have made him go all bezerk on yo a**?

I think that what Cell suggested is the right thing to do.

As for the lifelong grudge thing, that is really up to you isn't it?

Oh! He knew we weren't part of Dracko, he overheard our conversation which implied we aren't from around there. I suppose that's reason enough.

I was just toying with you. You should have just stayed in the water so that way you did't take damage.
About the killing... you were wielding a sword and attacked more then once and took my stuff. So I killed you back.
