I think Endermen can only move naturally placed blocks, if you placed the block, they can't move it.

3 things here one if you look at the Enderman who is holding the dirt block it seems that there is some pixels behind him so it clearly suggests that he just teleported 2 is that I belive this could be a dungeon not someone's home seeing as there is a mossy cobble stone on his house...wait scratch that that is his house. And finally 3 it looks as if you hit a mob with your bow and arrow they stay on it, as you can see the zombie ther.

He did not teleport, if you look directly at him, there are particle effects too.

It is just a native particle effect to the Enderman, to make him look more alive. Notch did after all say he'd be adding lots and lots of more particle effects to the game.
