The Temp Server

Well we all know the temp server has been fun. I mean 1.0? Sweet!
But every town is getting raided/grieved.
I don't know what to do about it and we probably need to put a stop to it.

It's a vanilla server, follow the State of Nature as described by either Locke or Hobbes. One way, trust no one, acknowledge no contracts, other way, band together, punish those that do bad unto you.

And of course, you're not going to ban for a few raids, are you?

Sigh, i'm getting tired of the stupid Nether portal bug. My base just got raided because of it, Bowser's portal links up to mine, and now i've had people coming in and out of it.

The only two options here are either to add basic towny protection, or big brother (block check) and make a rule against grieving.
Otherwise you can't really ban for anything, and are indeed confined to the laws laid out by Droid :/

or play like an nomad, curl up underground, and live through every second of the game being so paranoid that you won't even take your typhoid meds anymore.

It was my understanding that if its just temp server then no rules apply and u can all go nuts. lol

Also, no bukkit available yet, crash. We'll just have to seek out far and hide for now.
