I think that is an excellent addition.
If the lock is picked, it should stay open until the owner locks it again.

I wish I was an insane space wizard.

I too find that would be a good idea - that way the owner would know it had been picked by somebody and wouldn't continue to pour items into it thinking it was still locked, only for the picker to have continuous access.

Also, Godfrey, that's an interesting premise, but unless the server can host spout completely plugin based (not possible as far as I know, feel free to correct me) that would limit the server to spout users.

I know spout can be installed on all computers, but on some it may not run as well/and or properly at all. As well, many players (including myself) would need an exact walkthrough on how to install it properly on their platform. I don't think anybody wants to do that even once.

It could be made out of signs like you put a sign infront of the chest with the words : [Give chest level 23] then i would come a message : This chest is now protected a level 23, you can remove the sign.

Guys, the plugin isn't on day one of development. Only minor changes will really be made at this point. We're not designing the whole damn thing.

Also there could be diffrent levels of pick locls and picks based on ores in the game

Picklocks:
Iron 20% chance
Gold 40% chance
And Diamond 60% chance

As the process would be risky and costing if it failed, Yet rewarding if sucessful

I'd say iron would be like 10% or less - iron is too abundant. Also, diamond couldn't be used realistically 1500 clicks on a chest? No sirree.
