Plug-in Idea: Human TNT
I don't remember where, but I read that a player's statistics and physics can be configured to exert damage upon death.
I have considered making my character an anarchist extremist and I believe these modifications would help in the realism of suicide bombing.
Or, upon dying a TNT block could be generated where you were killed, and only lockpicks would have the ability to disarm it (maybe a minute timer or something) until it explodes.
Needless to say this would only be a perk for those joining extremist clans and everybody else should be at a disadvantage.
*Edit: This is a legitimate suggestion - I sincerely wish to have the ability to blow up upon death. Also, if we could design a particle effect for guts flying everywhere upon exploding I would be grateful.

I just think that suicide bombers are considered more surreal links to terrorism and don't think they're in great taste. That's what I think and I'm sure others would agree.

RE: Plug-in Idea: Human TNT
I would say... no. All politics and current-day connections aside, it simply does not fit into 'medieval steampunk' in my book. Now, if we were to clarify that it does indeed fit into the server setting... there's still those politics and current-day connections that we put aside just a few seconds ago. Not to mention the fact that this one other plugin will cause just another little split-second of lag that all amounts up to one big WTF LAGSPIKE moment that everyone hates. I think that the plugins should be kept to a minimum to reduce lag and smooth over gameplay, but that we shouldn't just cease to add plugins and go vanilla. We just need to pick and choose what are the best ideas - and, to be quite frank, this is not what I would consider a good roleplaying idea for the time setting that we would be in.
