/home and broken promises
So, perhaps it would be worth putting in a little note that donor benefits are only temporary and exist for whatever arbitrary duration the admins want players to have it before forcing them to give more money. Or that benefit lists are not necessarily accurate or anything more than outright lies. Removing the /home feature from donors and requiring more money to be donated to access the feature serves as a major deterrent to me or anyone else donating more money in the future.
Also not holding true to the donor/sponsor feature list (I never saw craftbook ICs on kiwike) means that when players donate they don't even get all the features that are explicitly supposed to be a result of a donation, and even the features that they do get can be arbitrarily removed at whatever time the Administrators please.
I can understand requiring future donors to pay more to get the tag or future players to pay more to get the features, but removing commands and perks from existing donors just because of a map reset or the addition of new rules is not going to facilitate additional donations or make donors feel confident that their money was well spent. Kiwike is too big of a server to justify these kinds of shenanigans.
Discuss.

RE: /home and broken promises
I completely agree with this. I feel like I have been ripped off, and something that I paid for, has now been taken away from me.

Just my 2 cents.

RE: /home and broken promises
The post complaining further about not having /home any more can stop now. We've taken notice.

Well yeah, but that doesn't mean we aren't gonna be PO'd about it.

RE: /home and broken promises
From a roleplay standpoint? I honestly support the decision to remove /home.

From a donor standpoint? I, like Pavja, feel as if I've been cheated. I feel like I payed $20 dollars only to have something taken away so that others feel more in-line with the roleplay, regardless of the fact that the disclaimer was always there.

From a Kiwike member standpoint? Why the hell are we talking about this - the decision is done, it is most likely for the best in the long run, and if the owners and administration want to deter future donors, that's there problem, not ours.

RE: /home and broken promises
Too bad if you feel ripped off, but we've never sold anything to my knowledge.
We are still working on the new donor privileges, as can be seen on the donation page.

RE: /home and broken promises
Ripped off? It's called "Donoring", not "Paying for more advantages".
I think we have been extremely privileged in 2.0. And now they just cut back on it a bit.
No reason to complain really.
