Right, and I'm sure some people feel the same way, but that's what we're trying to push away from. You can still have fun with the unique plugins (thanks yoda-the coding monkey) and the expirienced staff while still keeping the RP aspect. Rp can be a lot of fun if you enjoy being your character and lore, so put some time and effort into them and you'll enjoy Kiwike to the fullest extent. And this comes from me, someone who has never RP'ed in their life, and has just seen a bit of it on Kiwike.

Really, I would be doing more RP - hell, we even tried on the beta already - except we keep losing everything - between xrayers finding our base, moving everything and starting over somewhere new we don't even have time to RP -.-

It's not about having "time for RP". It's about making everything an RP situation. The point of a real roleplaying server is for everything that happens in-game to be an RP experience, not for time to be set aside to RP and not get anything done.

It's hard to turn mass murder of everyone and their livelihood into an RP situation that people are willing to participate in. I shouldn't have to hide myself in a hole in the ground to protect my livelihood, or be unable to have an open air farm for fear of the fact that at any moment someone can come by and massacre it. :/

I usually go for a stroll around my base looking for anything exciting, but I've never been killed by the people I meet.
Heck, I even took a random stranger to my base and gave him some armor and equipment once and he expanded my farm as a thank you.

I don't raid at all, really, and I always get destroyed in temp maps

I don't raid or make any real effort to find people, however I have never not been killed on sight in the wild, just today it happened. I only kill thieves and assailants, I am yet to have even close to a good experience on any of the beta maps.

My char in beta will be making a fortress-town for those who spawn in the Fjord(sp?) to use.
I still have a "secret" home base though.

I'm gonna have trouble RPing until I know my character, and I won't fully know that until I see the new application.

Really? I live a hundred blocks away from the spawn. Maybe it's in another direction.
