RE: He forced me...
Oh, but that would imply the soul is a tangible thing. Or even that it exists. And one cannot make a soul immortal, as that would mean it would not cease to exist. Which, of course, it would, if any of the ones with the power to reshape the universe decided it should not be. Thus, your mortality is indeed very real, as no being of greatness has taken sufficient interest in your existence to make it so that you will last for eternities. And even if they did, eternities can cease to be. It's all on the whim of the ones with the power to do that which we would be better of not knowing could be done.

Oh, come now... I'm not that scary. I don't bite. Well, most of the time. Sometimes I do. But that's mostly if you're made of candy. Or somehow happen to be extraordinarily tasty. Which I doubt. For you are human, right? Most humans lack the qualities that make stuff tasty enough for me. Some don't, of course. Are you one of those? 'Cause then I might still bite you.

Anyhow, go ahead, say stuff. It's always fun to talk with people... Well, until they don't want to talk any more. Then it's not as fun. 'Cause then, after all, it's not that much of a discussion with others than it is a discussion with myself. Though most conversations include that anyway. Discussions with myself that is. Well, at least written discussions. I don't know. I think it does though. Not that I know why. It just does. <.<

Immortality by your description is thus not an achievable status, for to be immortal one must be indestructible. And not even the greater old ones are indestructible.
Therefore, they are neither all mighty not immortal. Although they are still immeasurably more powerful than most things in this universe, or perhaps the next.

Well, yea, but the great old ones are weaklings. And stupid. The outer gods on the other hand, now those are a bit more troublesome. Like the blind idiot. He is with most certainty immortal. As is most of his court. Not to mention Yog-Sothoth, The Lurker at the Threshold, The Key and the Gate, The Beyond One, Opener of the Way, The All-in-One and the One-in-All. After all, being everywhere at all times would mean the same as to be infinite and eternal. At the same time, being locked outside the tangible (and intangible for that matter) universe would mean there's no means to an end, and neither would there be the possibility of destruction.
Why did you all vanish? That's what I was talking about. Everyone leaves in the middle of a conversation, leaving me to converse with myself. That's not very nice of you. /angryface

Well, since you're all a bunch of rude peoples, I'll be so rude as to leave myself as well, leaving no one to converse with me, meaning I have to find something else to do as well. I'm so mean to me. But hey, I deserve it! Now, if only I could get that stupid mind of mine to fall asleep... <.<

You are not them. They are the ones lurking beneath the wave, together with our great father Dagon. To be one of his chosen ones would be a great honour indeed, not something so trivial as to be bestowed upon you, being a mere mortal and all.

Dagon as in the lord of destruction from the TES series?

P.S i have multiple peraonalities, hence sporadic abscences and occasional unexplained behaviour. Just throwing it out there.

That picture is a bad example of a tableflip, it would be much more efficient if the guy flipped the table at the same time he stood up instead of standing up first and flipping the table later.

RE: He forced me...
No Llewyn. Dagon as in the father of the Deep Ones.
He is a fictional work of Lovecraft. The creator of Fantasy/Sci-Fi Horror. Pretty much everything that has to do with the extraordinary within gaming, and in a lot of cases literature, is inspired by him.
Amnesia is pretty much a complete rip off of one of his tales, put into game form with some differences here and there, and mixed with a couple of other stories.
