Character Name: Andronost Galarfin

General Background Information: Andronost is the lord of the house of Galarfin, one of the oldest elven bloodline's dating back almost to the formation of the old world. He was in the very first wars against the orcs when they first came to the old world and was a great warrior. Then everything changed. An orc raid came to his home having discovered where he lived. He fought valiantly as did his family and killed all but one in the back of the raiding party. When Andronost looked at this orc he instantly knew it was different. His eyes burned with a flame of blue as though he was tapping into some unknown power. Before he could do anything the orc lifted his hand and right before his eyes his family was burned with an unquenchable blue flame. Out of dismay and anger he took his sword and drove it into the chest of the orc with all the power he could muster. As the sword peirced him the orc let out a scream of anguish as though a million people cried out together at once, and then silence. He then went to see his family, all of them were dead and barely recognizable from the charring of their flesh. The last words his wife said to him were "never let this happen to anyone else." and then her last breath left her body. (I'll write more on his early life in a biography because i have a crap load more about how he discovered his arcane talents and of the battles he was in before this) Through his studies Andronost found he could use magic. Because he was the first magician of elven kind he became the Archmage and was to serve the king in matters of the arcane. Still there was a great void in his heart where his family had been and he had no life purpose. Until the day Tristoneon Numannasse was born. Andronost was assigned to guard and raise him as he was heir to the throne. And he did like Tristoneon was his own son. When Tristoneans father was slain in battle against the orcs when he was only 40. (which is young for elves considering they have the ability to live forever) At this time the wars against the orcs were becoming harder to fight. The elves took time and care to train their children in the art of war. But for the orcs it was in their blood. 16 years after taking the throne Tristoneon was faced with the entire orc army at the front gate of Eil. The elves knew there was no hope of winning so they began to pray to the tree of life. the orcs killed all the elves Andronost could see except for Tristoneon. Imbuing his prayer with the power of his magic Andronost desperately tried to contact the tree. The tree must have heard him because the next thing he knew he was in a strange desert having no knowledge of what happened right after he prayed. "What is this place?" he thought. And he set out to see if Tristoneon had been transported too.

Physical Condition/Description (what do they look like, what do they wear, all physical elements of a character): Andronost has a light brown hair that goes to his shoulders. He is of a lighter skin tone than that of humans so the sun gives him a radiance that many people are awed by. His skin is flawless except for some scars on his back from past battles. He wears a poncho like garment of gold signifying his status of archmage over top of a stylized elven outfit. His ears are fairly large even for elves.

What is your character's main objective? What do they wish to gain out of this experience of living?: He wishes to protect his king, help rebuild his dying race, and discover the secrets of the arcane arts
