The Anti-Xray Troll

Well, as the title says, the troll plugin. I'm sure most if not all of us have seen it in some sort of way, some worse than others. And yes, Yottabyte knows about it.
The problem with it is that it's showing ores, wood, and other types of blocks in the presence of stone, etc. This isn't really a problem until it happens on a frequent basis when your mining and hit diamond, only to find out it's just stone.

Was this just visible in a cave or did you mine your way to it?

Mined to it. I have found visible ones though such as the one in the dungeon i was speaking of.

yeah, this happens far too much. the old stone plugin was far less depressing, even if slightly deceiving on some occasions.

The old one allowed for suprises ! You would mine stone and out popped diamond :].

It does not update when a change happens that is not by a player, ie if sand or gravel falls, the troll ores remain.

It should update on gravel/sand fall from the next server restart. I'll look into the ore walls tomorrow.

I have noticed much less on falling gravel/sand. I think you fixed it. But in large caves I still find huge walls of the ores. Like... Huge... Its insane, worst Ive seen it so far..

I got trolled so hard the first time this happened to me... I was absolutely convinced that I had struck gold above layer 60.
