Character Name: Baron Caine

General Background Information: Caine had a storied alchemical career before becoming a tenured professor at the Alchemical College. He was responsible for advancing the field of alchemical engineering. He was researching the alchemical properties of creepers when one of his subjects exploded, igniting storage silos of glowstone dust. The resulting explosion destroyed the college, leaving behind a massive crater that stands to this day as a grim monument to the events that transpired. Through some perversion of luck, Caine's life was spared as the walls of the university crumbled around him. However, he was badly disfigured by the conflagration and rendered insane from glowstone inhalation compounded by the loss of everything he loved. He became a withered drifter, turned away from village after village because of his horrible scarring and terrible past. With nowhere else to turn, Caine's twisted form shambled towards the swamps where he subsisted on nothing but sugar cane and tainted swamp water for twelve years. His constant obsession with revenge and coinciding consumption of sugar cane became intertwined through the force of habit and the lens of an unsound mind. They would pay for what they did to Caine, and they would pay by way of cane. Sugar cane. Sugar Cane. Sugar Cane.

Now, a dark tower is being constructed amidst the blasted remains of the original college. Locals have noticed a pig missing here, a dog there, and that all the sugar cane in the area has mysteriously disappeared. There are whispers at the tavern that Old Caine has returned from the swamps and is pursuing dark and unnatural experiments at the old ruin. Sometimes an adventurer will follow the local rumors to investigate the crater. None of them have been seen again.


Physical Condition/Description (what do they look like, what do they wear, all physical elements of a character): Caine looks like your standard, severely-burned evil scientist, often wearing black robes that cover what remains of his fleshy husk. Fashion varies, but stays consistent with attire befitting the Dark Lord of Sugar Cane.

What is your character's main objective? What do they wish to gain out of this experience of living?:
1. Monopolize the production of the world's sugar cane.
2. Weaponize the sugar cane extract.
3. Begin a reign of terror.

Eer.. For one if this is supposed to be the background to the king of a future... nation of reed? I feel as though nobody would ever take you seriously therefor never join your.. cause.. The whole thing seems kind of derpy... Like, I read this and feel like you don't care about what RP is as well as have no experience in RP. Acting class and some other games... you can learn RP from those but I mean, if all you learned was to make weird obsessions over strange items in the game, then I don't know what you would actually do in game...

Idk.. I hope you get accepted, but I also hope you decide to change up your lore a bit..

I am taking care of it. I had been using my brother's account to post, but just made my own account A. so as not to confuse us B. to show you guys I'm serious.

I can repost this thread under my name, but the mods are clever enough to figure this out.
