Without war and conflict this server would be completely boring. In fact, it was completely boring after the whole "Peace Conference" conflicts ended. This is why we Solitudians wage war. Because its fun. And if people wouldn't just sit there and cry about how much better we are than them maybe everyone else would have some fun too. It's not fun because we don't have a chance. You come around every day demanding money and diamonds so we don't have a chance to get resources back! When we don't have the resources, you attack and raid us! It's impossible! You're retarded!

On hungergames servers one can fully arm themselves with iron armor and swords within 15 minutes, even while hiding from almost a hundred other hostile players in a much smaller map.

Whoever honestly thinks it is hopeless needs to give their heads a shake.

My point of view comes from a character who has 'ascended' from 'mortal conflict', and thus is rather detached from the whole situation.

You have made it sufficiently clear that you are not "detached" from the situation out of character, even though that's what you wish to convey here. I can't just say "Well, my character is unbiased, so my decision is the right one." This is entirely irrelevant, and I've seen you say it other times.

I was responding more to the complaints on griefing and metagaming than the raids, which I thought had died down significantly. If I am wrong, I apologize for my misreading of the situation. I was under the impression that there were occasional raids every now and then now rather than constant raids as there were before we cracked down on them. I have absolutely no problem, then, with complaints regarding the actual frequency of said raids. That is definitely something to be dealt with. What I do not agree with is the grasping for ways to ban them. If there was a simple complaint on the frequency of raiding, then the answer is simple: The staff tells them to slow down or they get banned. Easy as that. It doesn't take 9 pages of arguing to do that. However, it did, and that is what I am addressing.

The other things still happened. It's stuff they were previously warned, like burning items, and raiding without permission. Was the screenshot posted where I tell Conor that the raiding ban was still in effect? 3 raids followed. They certainly knew that they were rule-breaking. Pwolbart once threw items out of a base, and when I caught him, Saera warned him. He did it again today. Why doesn't that matter?

I just said that I am most certainly not always right... I thought it was worth noting that my character despises them. Anyways, those are things where we say 'Ok, you did this again. One more time and you're banned' rather than OHHHH SNAP BANHAMMA!

Then follow up by assailing you every day after the fact, maybe they should learn to take the peace offer and act civil toward other people rather than just being dicks to everyone on the server.

They gave you a peace offer.. a legitimate peace offer, in an RP style, which would promote further RP.

They gave you a peace offer.. a legitimate peace offer, in an RP style, which would promote further RP.

If you look at the pics in post one, you can view the peace offer which we agreed upon, however Lewis Pwol decided that they were no longer satisfied with that so they would make up a special agreement that everyone who entered the solitude court house on that day of solitudes raid (many weeks after the fact) had automatically signed a paper with their foot prints and are now all due to pay tribute to them. This proposition came about after their proposition that we build them a monument and worship them as gods as well as forcing our members to constantly carry gold and diamonds to give them. One power gaming two fuck no and three they already agreed to a peace which I payed for.

Here's what's been happening the wbole time. They give "peace offers" with entirely unreasonable demands. Look at their earlier thread. They stated that they can go around the towns and mug people. An excuse to kill people. Either that, or we could dedicate our entire towns to them. What? WHAT? That's not a legitimate peace offer, that's desperately clinging to reasons to go back to war
