blowing up shops

Recently i went to visit my shops outside caldera only to find 5 or so misisng and a giant crater beneath them that fits the size of TNT. is it possible for shops to get blown up and not respawn cause now im out a good number of items because of this.

I saw that, I was over there one day and I noticed a shop that was selling tnt got blown up. I also saw some old supply shops that looked pretty messed up.

Yea, i saw Thephonz's shops blown up. most of the supplies i lost weren't to important except for 3 stacks of arrows, 1 1/2 stacks of flint about, and a stack of iron ingots other rest of just filler items

You shouldn't be using shops to store items anyway, only to sell things. That said, I think blowing up shops is potentially greifing and it definitely violates rules 1&2 so you might want to find a Mod...
