The end of New Rapture?

Whilst walking around my underwater town, New Rapture, today, I was hit with the harsh reality that although there were ten residents in the town, I was the only active one. I realized that there were no houses being lived in whatsoever. It currently has no life to it. It is simply a big glass structure sticking out of the ocean with one lone avatar occasionally milling about it. It took me a while to really come to terms with this, since it had taken me so long to plan and create, but I knew that I had to either recruit active members pronto or just disband the town. I would REALLY rather not choose the latter, but it seems like all of the active players on the server already are in other towns. So, what do you think? Should I end the sad existence that New Rapture currently has, or try to inject life into it by recruiting new members, if it's even possible? Please answer honestly; don't just say that I should recruit active people even if you don't think I'll be able to. Thank you for your time; this means a lot to me.

Have you seen the whitelist forum?
There are new applications dropping in everyday.
I am pretty sure you could find some people. I mean, it is an underwater town named New Rapture after all.

Yeah, there has been a lot of new members to the server lately, expecialy with the new server upgrade and all, more people that can be online, more advertising... well I hope the mods are trying to put more advertising for the server out there. But either way, there has been a lot of new members, I'm sure you can get a few in a week or so. If you really want to get them over, have about 10 stacks of glass, say you can give 2 stacks to each new member of your city. That way people dont have to worry about gathering sand and coal to make their home, or atleast they can get started on it. Just an idea, hope your town stays up and running.

There are new members welcomed to the server everyday, the only problem is there are so many being recruited to the same time, its ridiculous. If it was me, there would be a limit to how many can live in a town, this would help with the server spread rather than having two overpowered towns, and 5 or so friends only towns. What i mean about this is What if a limit of 30 was set to a Capital town, and a limit of 20 on a resident town. This would give you a better chance at prospering. As for what to do with New Rapture, keep it, see what you can do with it in the next week or so. If you make no progress, then make a final decision.

Thank you, doggy Once New Rapture has two active residents, hopefully others will join. And thanks to Cell and asdf for the encouragement; if it weren't for the fact that some people voted that the town should stay, it would probably be gone by now. The decision is made, then: New Rapture will stay!

Hey Gecko, I'm new and am yet to join a town, and would be more then happy to join a town like that. To make things even better, my avatar skin is a big daddy. Im in a town I started in that has just about no one here. Lemme know how I can get to this fabled city of New Rapture.
