New Hope is the shining new beacon for the roadbuilders.
It stands firmly surrounded by walls in a area of ice. The sea here is covered in ice most of the time. And building crops is proving a challenge.

It came to existence after the events of New Haven and the losing their master of the roadbuilders. André Ashdown (naamandre3) found himself lost within the knowledge and last words of his master. He had wandered the lands repairing the roads and creating new ones like he thought he should.

Soon he found himself in the northern wilderness. And came upon a ruin. It was empty and flattened. and he took rest there. It was there that stugmaster found him and handed him his lost journal. After reading through his previous entries he understood the words of his master.
A single roadbuilder cannot maintain the roads. He was not to maintain the roads of kiwike. But to maintain the roadbuilders.

After coming to understand this. He layed the first stone of New Hope and was helped by stugmaster in the process. Soon after they had made the most basic things. Another person joined them. Found almost frozen they dragged the stranger into one of the basic homes. Revealing himself to be Kyga. After being warmed up he decided to help them as repayment. After learning more about the Roadbuilders he also decided to join them.

Now the town stands complete.
Ready to test itself against Time and the darkspawn.
to hold a new generation of roadbuilders.

And then it hit them, flashes of a newer, faster method of transport kept them awake at night. The same one that led to their ultimate downfall. It was, the subway.

André had an amazing idea after I had handed him the missing piece to the diary. I am honored to be one of the newest Roadbuilders and to help build New Hope. Long live the revival of the Roadbuilders!
