/c ombat logging
People have been using /c to escape from combat. They have also probably been using /mavenholm and /town spawn. Can combat teleporting be considered against the rules? Can all teleport commands have warm-up times or is that not possible?

RE: /c ombat logging
I've had a similar experience with a guy disconnecting while i was chasing him.
I do not know if he did it on purpose or not, but if people do this on purpose, there should be a punishment.
A friend told me that this is not against the rules. But i think this is a clear violation of Rule 1. Extremely douch-like move.
Same with teleporting out of a battle.

@title: I see what you did there!

Even if we do add warm-ups (yes, it is possible btw) people will still be able to just log off. We have been discussing some solution to this problem but we kind of came to a stop.

RE: /c ombat logging
I believe that this should be banned, combat logging ruins open world PvP.
Now are we going to protect our property if the thief can just log out and come back at a later time when we are not online?
How are we to have a fair war if someone can just log out and then log in and stab you in the back?

How about.... if someone logs off after being hit within 5 seconds, their inventory will be dropped. Maybe.

I like that idea, i like it a lot. But i think it needs to be more than 5 seconds. Perhaps 10? Though it doesn't really solve the problem Hoif was talking about. That they will just log on later and steal your stuff again.

Let's say, kill them then. Autokill if you have been hit by a player within the last 10 seconds. Deal?

RE: /c ombat logging
That sounds pretty awesome. Deal.
One thing though, is it possible for the server to recognize if the player manually disconnected or, say like, the player ran out of memory?

I can accept that. It's a fair and just system.
