Computer Sound(Headphones) Help?

I'm trying to use my headphones with my computer, the ones that I've been using for the past half a year, but this morning they stopped working? They turn on but no sound comes out. I use Turtle Beach Earforce X31s, please help someone? ):

How are you connecting them to your Computer?

But one thing that most likely is the problem, if your are wired, the wire may have gone bad as has happened to my Turtle beach before. When it does this you can plug it in and it will think its not plugged in and such.
You can re-order a new one off Turtlebeach.com, and or if you have bought the wire within 3 months of this date, it is under warrant and you can get a new one shipped to you.

I've had them since christmas 2010, so no warrenty, they're wireless and it has a little black box with a USB that goes into the computer/XBox/whatever and a little 2.5mm jack, there's a cable that goes in it for an XBox and a white one for the computer that goes in the green 2.5mm jack at the back. ): I have no money to get another as well.

It told me to put my fucking headphones on.

I fixed this with Zup
He did have his sound off, and after having him mess around with his setting and a quick re-boot all fixed.
