RE: Guilds Revamped
You actually have some well thought out ideas here.
Believe it or not, I actually like most of this in my opinion. As for implementing it, that is another thing.
For instance, adding cheaper prices, etc. That will involve going in and either A. Coding every single name of the guild into it by hand. Or B. Making a new plugin where you can invite someone to a guild, and just have that guild have the prices, etc in the code.
Although option B is quite the better option, Yottabyte would still have to work very hard at getting that done by having the plugin interlock with so many more plugins to get what you where saying done.
Now, onto the aspect of the names.
This could actually be VERY helpful in-game. Soloely for RP purposes.
Now, as i'm not sure of the intents of this, or if they would prove useful. But having a whole new plugin for chat could be handy. For instance.
OOC - Your normal minecraft username pops up.
Local - A set name, of your choosing, pops up when you speak. Further enhancing RP.
An example of the local chat would say, my Rp name was "Cell the Brave". Upon putting that in as my name, when I speak in local for rp purposes, that will pop up instead of "XCellX".
But again, whether or not this will happen, is a whole different story, but I am going to agree with you on the chat subject.

RE: Guilds Revamped
Alter-egos would be bad, people would change their names to other players names and pretend to be them without others knowing differently. (even if they have diffrent tags, they could still walk around as them, and even with the tags, theres only 3 diffrent tags that are used, blue donor, sponsor, and mod, then of course nothing, and I wouldn't be surprised to see mods imitating each other for fun.. Which can get annoying from a players point of view)

:what:
One, tristo failed.
Two, dens would practically be nomad towns, which we don't like or want.
And three, your guild would be very rp oriented, I can tell, but if we were giving them such things, we'd likely have to make an application to determine if these guilds would last, and I know of quite a few that wouldn't.
I suppose it wouldn't be all that bad. We'll see.
