Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
I realize I am probably way to late to offer any decent development suggestions for Revamped, but since we already have some basic Movecraft based plugins, I was wondering if it would be possible for future extensions of the plugin content.

While I don't know what the plan is in the slightest for Revamped plugins (whether or not content will be eliminated, changed, or expanded on) in the occasion that it is not altered, I would suggest turning blocks (ie; large swinging doors, folding down draw-bridges, etc..). While this is not a huge addition, if added onto our arsenal of fences and extending bridges, this could bring about a new era of design on Kiwike as well as increase the RP era aspect of medieval and steampunk architect.

I don't intend to delay Revamped longer by asking for more coding to be done, I simply ask that you consider my notion and possibly find a way to integrate it into the server in future updates.

RE: Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
These are pretty nice ideas. Do you have a certain plugin in mind?

RE: Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
The only issue I see with this is how these elements work, I'm sure it can be done but the pluggins used for the gates and bridges now are not Yottas. And moving blocks (let alone having the pluggin know what blocks to use) diagonally without deleting or duplicating the blocks to move them in a fashion that looks moderately well could be rather difficult.

Although if its already been done that'd be an awesome additionLaugh

I don't think it is possible in a practical/resource efficient way. You could do a kiwiship kind of copy-paste over and over of the gate blocks in different configurations but it would be laggy and glitchy. I think it is better to stick with what we have (the gates we have are sufficient and large swinging doors aren't important enough to justify writing a new plugin for.

RE: Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
There are plugins and ways to do this but they do cause huge amounts of lag its unlickley for large moveable object in the server Sad

RE: Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
Well it would be movecraft - I can almost guarantee it's possible and already available somehow.

And of course, these doors or bridges, in order to be large to scale they wouldn't need to be any bigger or use any more blocks that fences and extending bridges already.

RE: Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
Thing is it would cause many problems but our current gate system is fine

RE: Kiwike Plugin Suggestion
1. Cool, sounds awesome
2. I can't even think of all the problems this might cause. Not worth it.
