Poll: Do you want this Mod

Hey guys, I've been playing around with this mod for a while and I thought it could be a good idea to add to Kiwike. It's called Planes Mod. Planes Mod allows users to fly planes and carry cargo within them. Also it could add an aspect to war because some of the planes can drop bombs. They are 85% faster than Kiwike ships which is a great improvement. About 2500 blocks an hour. Maven to Bludwick in about 5 Minutes. Walking takes 15 minutes so its a good amount faster. Kiwike Ships most likely 2 hours and Minecarts 6-10 minutes(estimates). It involves a client side installation(its simple it installs itself{literally}). For Yotta and droid I have no idea but there is a mod for it for Bukkit. Also, we could avoid the Nether because of how fast it is. All we would need is to build airfields in each city. What do you guys think?

That is a We cant. This is a fun ssp or smp mod But it is not a RP kiwike mod. We have kiwiships for a reason. Also planes are not Midevil Steampunk ;{

Oops forgot to add that what I could love is something like the zeppelin mod. This will be very possible once the spoutserver is released.

By the way, from what I understand, this causes major stress on the server and the players and the only plane you can craft in SMP (as of 1.9) is the basic wooden one. And it moves like a boat, so if you get problems with choppiness in boats, it will be equal or greater with planes.

No choppiness here.

In fact I don't think i've ever gotten any server lag on Kiwike. The only lag I get is rare and it's from my computer when it slows down because of a vigintillion firefox tabs open. Tongue

i would love this, but unfortunately it doesn't fit the theme and would cause serious server stress.

However, if we had an alternate server for more modern themes..
