The Peculiar Studies of Dr. Farsonian [Diary/WIP]

This is a work in progress, consider it the back story of my future character in Kiwike: Revamped.


Many a gods there have been references to throughout the ages.
This diary will be the notebook on which I will document my pursuit of a god that has caught my interest.
Many have wondered at the magical powers of Redstone. What really makes it tick? No one knows.
However, I have found references to a certain god connected to the powers of Redstone.
Through chance I stumbled upon a book, which name has now been lost in memory, the pages too tattered to read at full, I managed to salvage some of it, vague references towards voices in the Red.
It is my belief that once there was an entire society devoted to the worship of a deity, a deity which resided within the Redstone.
And that this deity is the source of it's magical power.
A god so powerful that it can create such wonders... I dare not think of the implications if this were to be true.

Entry #2
Again, I have stumbled upon vague writings of the power in the red. This time in the form of a diary.
The writer and previous owner of the diary seemed to me insane beyond reason. At one point the writing was almost unreadable, it was just an intangible mess of symbols and unrecognizable letters.
It also seemed as if there were more than one person writing. A particular entry that caught my eye was this:
"Today the druggy next door tried to stab me. He's been acting a bit strange as of late. He shall be consumed..."
The last part being written in a very hasty manner, as if the writer was suddenly seized by a fit of rage.
Nevertheless, this is not the focus of my current curiosity.
It is the obsessive, almost fanatical way this person seems to regard Redstone. Every page contains at least one speculation as to how he can perfect his next Redstone apparatus. Such a genius he was. But such a twisted genius.
He constantly goes on and on about how he is the favoured one, how all the others cannot see. I'm pretty sure that at more than one time he was writing with what seemed like blood. The letters I remember quite clearly, for they have given me a feeling I just can't shake. "The Red One is approaching." They read. I wonder if this deity really is so wonderous after all, seeing how twisted this man is.
