Stumbled upon this while looking for an app or open code for PTT to use on Skype.
To put it short and simple, this is an all-in-one social/browsing feature for use in-game. It currently does not support Minecraft, sadly, but from peaking around their forums, the head developer may be working on it in the near future. I'll let the rest speak for itself.

yea but sometimes it would be nice to just do this, like when I'm on my laptop and I don't want to move windows around.

Unless you want fullscreen.

Depending on its degree of customization, the amount of processor it consumes, and it's recording method, I may decide to use it.

In all honesty, the only reason I play games in full screen is because I want to focus on the game and not be distracted by other things. Having this popping up completely ruins that sort of thing, so it's a no go for me.

It just doesn't support enough games for it to be all that helpful to me. I feel like there has to be a better system, the Steam overlay can work on games outside of Steam
