Found something the other day...
Well, I was going through some old folders, and I found something a few of you might enjoy. It was a work in progress, and was going to be put in place after there was a working senate system. Sadly, the fall of Plunge wrecked Cerantia both inside and out, as the largest supplier of war materials left. Anyways; here you go. I'd appreciate it if you contacted me if you want to base anything off of it; you know how paranoid I get with this stuff.

It is with firm resolve that I, Cerce Eugene Evangelina Danielson Tentones, appointed leader of the Cerantian peoples, do hereby announce that the Kingdom of Cerantia, shall be re-branded as the People's Empire of Cerantia, under which the former kingdom shall be absolved to make way for a new government to meet the needs of the general populace of Cerantia, Kiwike, and all concerned peoples of the world. Therefore, let it be known that I, Cerce Eugene Evangelina Danielson Tentones, as servant and protector of the Cerantian peoples, do hereby declare myself de facto ruler, capable of carrying out all those things just and necessary that a leader of such a country should do, until such a time where it is deemed appropriate and necessary to establish another ruler, rulers, or lack thereof.

As ruler of the People's Empire, I hereby declare that I, as well as any and all Emperors or Empresses that may or may not grace this great domain, shall be capable of performing any and all necessary acts of foreign and domestic policy that does not deter peace, prosperity, and life, including the ability to create laws; establish districts, provinces, or any subdivision of government with the intent to promote peace, prosperity, and life; collect taxes not exceeding an amount that would strain the resources of the general populace to the point of starvation or inability to further purchase required materials of life, peace, and prosperity; establish a national religion to which the majority of the people should follow, or lack thereof; accept laws proposed by the general populace if a majority vote is in favor; interpret laws; pardon criminals; establish just and righteous punishments for all crimes, given that the sentence does not go against the wishes of the general populace or those offended; create armies; establish a draft; and any other abilities that the peoples of Cerantia wish to bestow upon the Emperor, given that they are not powers of malicious intent, and that they do not discourage peace, prosperity, and life.

Therefore, let it be known that, should the majority of the peoples of the Empire consider the Emperor a detriment to peace, prosperity, and life, it is with resounding faith that I, Cerce Eugene Evangelina Danielson Tentones, do bestow upon them the right to establish a new ruler, if over 3/4ths of the entire population, not just those present at the occurrence, are in favor. However, should it be found that the Emperor or Empress is in the right, and is not a detriment to peace, prosperity, and life, this right would be null and void, requiring that any rebels that attempt to establish a new ruler be quelled. Should the Emperor or Empress be in the wrong, and is a detriment to peace, prosperity, and life, it is the people's civic duty to remove said Emperor or Empress from office by any means necessary, and appoint a new ruler, or rulers, that is supported by at least 3/4ths of the entire population, not just those present at the occurrence.

Should an Emperor or Empress die, or become incapable of ruling due an ailment that impedes his moral, lawful, or logical thoughts, the spouse of said Emperor or Empress will ascend to the throne as rightful ruler. Should a spouse not be present, or is incapable or incompetent in rule, a ruler, or rulers, will be selected from the Emperor or Empress's children by the people of Cerantia. Should a child not be present, or is incapable or incompetent in rule, the people of Cerantia shall elect amongst themselves a ruler, or rulers, to ascend to the throne.

In the event of total and persistent war, in which a nation has openly declared a state of hostility between the People's Empire of Cerantia and said nation for an indefinite period of time without peaceful alternatives, martial law may be declared by the Emperor or Empress, or by the highest ranking military member in Cerantia, should the Emperor or Empress not be present. This may be declared in times of economic turmoil or domestic violence as well. While martial law is in effect, all elections are suspended, drafts are issued to all male citizens of fighting age, borders are closed, and all crimes and punishments are subject to interpretation by the Emperor or Empress or highest ranking military member in Cerantia.

And that was where it ended. I'm pretty sure I meant to put more onto it, as this just covers what the leader can and can't do, as well as some contingency plans in case the ruler got too crazy. If that's TLGrinR, my appologies.

"One can concentrate so closely on the words of a sentence that one thereby misses the meaning. As can happen in any area of life. You must never lose focus on the larger landscape."

Wow. I am deeply sorry for the fall of Plunge. I'm going to go ahead and blame StayPuff for that incident. X got a little out of control, what with me being the leader and joining Cerantia with the intent of exposing its king as fallible. Apparently I was the only one in the guild with that particular motive, as the rest of its members resorted to petty raids... Which is why I was dragged out of the nation, which is too bad, seeing as I was going to plan a whole RP event where I would reveal myself as leader with you on your knees due to a clever trap sprung at the "X-stravaganza", which never happened because certain people *cough*stug*cough* decided to leave in the middle of setting up the event. The friendship would have been severed (RP-wise only, of course) and X would have been at war with Cerantia, enlisting the support of other nations, and a world war would have broken out. That would have been epic... Oh, well.

Yeah, we were basically going to put people in one room to play a game involving the winner flicking a switch. Upon pulling the lever, the floor would disappear, causing everyone to fall into a trap, where you were to be forced to endure a series of obstacle-course-like challenges where people would slowly be killed off, with only Cerce remaining.

Well, the whole point of X being in Cerce's nation was to prove that he was fallible, and he was our number-one enemy, so...

RE: Found something the other day...
Well, guys, here's the full document that I came up with. It's implemented in another game called Mount and Blade: Warband, specifically on the Persistent World mod, HCRP server. The bottom half of the document is based off of the Magna Carta, and the top half is pure Cerce. I've editted it so that it reads 'Kiwike' and not 'Calradia'.
