Character Name: Thomas (Tom) Fooleri

General Background Information: Tom was a young entrepeneur born in a small, forestry-based village in a secluded jungle region. He, however, was far more interested in the mechanics of the machines moving and producing the massive amounts of timber. By the time he was sixteen he had revolutionized the industry of the village and advanced the region to near-steampunk technology all but singlehandedly. Upon his twentieth birthday, he decided he would spread his gift to the rest of he world, selling his technology and knowledge. Through the next month, he managed to cover enormous distance by flying with his automated whirly-bird. Unfortunately, his knowledge of conductivity was very limited and he had built his whirly-bird with a golden frame. While still to far over and ocean to land safely, Tom's whirly-bird was struck by lightning, temporarily paralyzing him and sending him plummeting off of the pilot's seat into the ocean.

The next thing Tom knew he was woken up by a splash of freezing water. Looking up he noticed it was nighttime. Knowing all sorts of dangerous creatures were bound to be about, he dashed into what appeared to be a cave. Luckily, Tom had made several fire-proof matches and kept them in his zippered shut pockets. With his newly made torches he managed to explore the cave and discover many different minerals. After testing out the different properties of these minerals, Tom most favored redstone. The intricacies and opportunities presented by this simple dust amazed Tom, who had only grown up using the power of gears and steam.
With this new discovery in hand, Tom set out at daylight to find his bearings and look for locals to spread his genius to.

Physical Condition/Description (what do they look like, what do they wear, all physical elements of a character): Tom is a human of average height. He always wears his pilot's helmet and goggles, made of light leather. In addition, he addorns a matching coat trimmed with the thinnest, most detailed of gold-plating complementing his steampunk sense of style and design.

What is your character's main objective? What do they wish to gain out of this experience of living?: To spread his kindness, good-manner, and knowledge of technology to all he can in this new land.
