Test server / temp server?
Alright just wondering about the temp server or the test server. People neglected to inform me on what it is exactly, I must have missed some post on the forums or something.

Whats this mountain server for exactly, and when do we get the new 'real' server?

So the same rules apply here? or are they different somehow?

Will there ever be a use for a slime ball? D:

I await responses with baited breath... garlic breath to keep the vampire creepers away.

The test server is for people to play on and try out new features of the patch. The normal server is still running but you will have to downgrade Minecraft in order to play.

The normal server is updated... sometime later today probably. Bukkit is patched but I prefer to wait for the developers to announce that it is usable for dedicated hosting.

You backup the minecraft bin folder before an update and place it back after an update.

Its a little difficult finding a download for that. If anyone could give me a link to a bin folder I can use or offer to email me theirs?

I could try to send you the .rar of my own backed up bin folder if I find a way to delete my set username & password out of the autofill and remember to actually mail it to you. PM me with your email so i can send it there!
