Kiwike's own Pro Mincraft League Server aka an awsome Arena Server

Now me and my good friend Shadowlink839 are starting a server that is based off of kiwike.se. What we mean by that is you keep your characters and you apply for the server and make a team of 4 people and you compete on diffrent things. Right now we are going to be using a map where there are two Air ships and your team has to board and destroy the other teams core on the ship. Now we are not for sure if this will work so that is why we will have a beta testing to the first two teams to create the team.

Requirments to be on a team
1.Must be white listed on Kiwike.se
2. Must have a written explanation to why your Character would be interested in risking his/her life for some gold.
3. Can have some fun
4. If super good at PvP or is the first time of something like this please tell one of us so we can pair you up with a more suitable team so then we dont have five minute long games

Requirments for a team
1. Must have four people per a team.
2. Must have a cool name that is non offensive of any sort and there cannot be for say team Awsome then someone does Team Awsome1 or anything like that it would just add confusion.
3. Come up with a backround to how this team was established because four strangers would usually not just say "I dont know you lets go and fight as a team"
4. There will be an entree fee of a certain amount of GN not sure yet(Beta games are excluded from pay)
5. Must post list of players on the teamin comments of this thread

General Rules
1. No cheating that means Bonus health extra damage Aim bot or anything else i cant think of. if you are suspected of this we will call a halt of the game and we shall ask the person to let us monitor their screen for any signs of cheating (we will stop at some time or we may not) if we are denied this request we will auto maticly disqualify the team and claim the other team victory.
2. Each map has its own specific rules
3. If its not in the rules of either this list or the spefic rules made for the map it is allowed no matter what

Now if you are still wondering what this server is its like a kiwike.se themed server that plays games like Race for the wool CTF maybe and many more but instead of an un constant like what kiwike.se does with Race for the Wool we will be trying to do this as much as possible.

Post any questions you have and remeber first two teams who apply get to beta test it. Format of the application for a team shall be put in the comment section.

Oh i have asked Yotta. I am mainly doing this because i think this would be a nice extension for the server of Kiwike.se if i am asked to stop i will stop with no complaint

Oh also i would like to ask people to NOT put up i am looking for a team to join. I want that dealt with somewhere else it will just clog up the comments too much. If you are caught doing this i will have you pay an extra amount when playing or i will just make it so then you can not play at all

I am the aforementioned Shadowlink839. The Doctor went into pretty good detail about the rules and such, but I just want to mention a few more things. First is that the rules posted are subject to change (especially during the beta). We just wanted to get a basic set of rules down before things got too complicated. Second is that the maps being played on are NOT original. They are the same maps used in the Pro Minecraft League. If you want to know more go to:

Some may say we are stealing the maps, but they are available for download to the public. Also, if you want to create a map and submit it, that's fine with me. I just don't have that kind of time. The Doctor touched on this but didn't really explain it well. All games (aside from beta games) will cost GN to enter. The winning team will receive the majority of the it, with only a small amount (that The Doctor and I can't agree on yet) will go to us. There are several different maps that will be played on. These maps all have different objectives such as destroy the core, collect the ender eyes, bomb the base, ect. When we are ready to start the beta, we will go more in depth on how the game is played. Finally, these skirmishes will be played on a separate server (mine). I'm expecting this to be the most difficult part of this entire thing for a few reasons. First, I'm working on getting my server to not need Hamchi. Second, I've never had more than 4 people on my server. And third, I've never had people from another continent on my server before. There's clearly going to be a lot of crash and burn here, but I hope it will eventually turn into something great.

Seems very metagamey to me.

Hope you can fit this in within the rules, but it still seems like something that should be under staff control if it uses a Kiwike name.

In What ways is it meta gaming though? i am just wondering for i thought i have touched based on all of it. Oh and we will also be putting up a sign about it too so then teams can sign up there and on the forums
