RP rules violation

I believe using name tags for RP is against the rules, yet it has happened.
While outside of the town Solitude (An enemies town and I have been here previously), waiting for a safe time to go in I was discovered by Nlewis and Pwolbart (Not sure how to spell his name) (Also Ian but that is later) .
Please note that I was sneaking and in a cave.
They found me by what I believe using my name tag.
The first was Ian, he had to break the wall to get to where I was, and reported my position. He couldn't have known I was there without using my name tag.
Then I went back and went closer to the town.
Shortly after (Still sneaking at this point) I noticed a high level of danger and attempted to leave.
Then Lewis told me to stop (I THOUGHT they would be peaceful as I haven't taken anything and I actually wanted to talk to them) so I did and told them I was on my way out and I wanted to talk.
However Pwol makes a straight line to my position and kills me.
I did have armor on but I didn't have my sword drawn.
I was given no time to leave nor time to explain myself.
(Going off topic) I also believe that Giratina has also used name tags for RP.
I will also say that I broke blocks I think were placed by another player but could not replace them as I was killed.
Even while sneaking they saw my name tag and used it to find my location.
With my current knowledge, when a player is sneaking you cannot see their name tag through a one block wall of some sort without the aid of a hack client.
I will also inform you (Since this post is non-RP and I can use name tags to explain) their name tags were small enough to see that they were inside city walls, and their positions were inside the walls as well.
So, even without being in a cave they couldn't have seen me and couldn't have done anything if I was not crouching.
They didn't even pull the "I heard him breathing".
They just went and killed me, after telling me to stop.

You came to our town, we have great reason to kill you. Let me list the reasons for you:

1. You are an enemy
2. You are at our Town
3. You are hiding in a cave

It is quite obvious the RP reasons for killing you.

As for the nametag thing, You were reported seen north of the town, so we went to investigate and saw a whole in the sand leading to a cave. We then found you and killed you.

You (also) used their nametags to identify their location in proximity to yours.

If either of them are punished for this (which would include ignoring their reasonable explanation) you at very least are guilty for an alteration of the same rule violation.

Please, and I'm almost begging at this point, stop making complaints and threads out of spite and ignorance of an RP conflict.

You said yourself that Solitude was an enemy's town, and as it seems, Lewis tried to tell you to stop. Unless from the time Pwol started digging in a straight line to the point where he killed you you made no attempt to reply, I think they would have been justified. This is, of course, working with the information stated above.

On top of this, I'm not entirely sure if you meant that using someone's nameplate above them to find them is bad, or if you were trying to accuse NLewis and gang of xray to find you while you were sneaking. If it's the former, I personally believe that since it really is apart of minecraft and we have the ability to sneak, one would be able to see and contact these people. Whether that starts another discussion in and of itself, I do not mind.

How was I found when somebody reported my location this time?

I would like to point out a previous time Gira did this. My friend, playing as me during a raid while I was doing yard work, had been hidden in a cave branching off a ravine. It was not visible from the surface. He qalked to my friend directly, without looking around. He was either looking quite hard for a nameplate or using an unapproved client. Also, we so not use nameplates (unless some people are doing it without me knowing, I do not condone the behavior)

While we're reporting people, on two occasions Dillpickle walked around multiple obstacles and dug towards players who were sneaking and hidden behind objects. I'm talking a b-line straight to these players without so much as a nametag or the slightest reason to go search that area.

Once when skote was sneaking, hidden behind a hill near Darkwood, and another time when leowester was sneaking in a covered hole.
