This just happened...How do I stop it from doing this and make it come back to MY nether portal?

Destroy that portal, go to your portal on the surface and write down the coords. Divide them by 8 and go into the nether. Destroy whatever portal is there and walk over to the exact coords you got. Build a new portal and go through it. Problem solved!
