Prometheus
If you have not yet seen this movie you are missing out. Absolutely amazing film, the effects are brilliant and it's one of the best films I've seen in its use of 3D. You have to see this film especially if you are a fan of Alien.

RE: Prometheus
Commercial looks cool but I am still failing to see how the allusion to Prometheus is relevant.

Prometheus is not just supposed to be the bringer of fire to mortal men but also seen as the Harbinger of a new era or age. Normally it means something just new or revolutionary.
It could also reference the idea of finding new technology, or having a modern day Prometheus gifting this new technology.

Personally I love the title and can't wait to see this movie.

"I wish I wish
Upon a fish
That I may have
Another dish."

Well from what I saw of the commercial I suppose the aliens could be related to Prometheus in that they left messages to the humans, however Prometheus is representative of bringing a new era in that he brought about the era of men, seeing as this is about an alien race bent on destroying said men, I don't believe that Prometheus is a fitting title in that sense, but I will certainly try to find the relevance of said title in the movie when or if I do end up watching it.
Like I said though, movie looks cool, I will definitely think about going to see it, but I still don't like the title.

Nice job trying to show off, now go watch the movie so you can stop basing analysis on simple advertisements.

What
I'm not trying to show off. I really hate it when people allude to things and don't really know how to do so properly. I don't think being knowledgeable about a basic myth like that of Prometheus is showing off, it's in the basic 9th grade curriculum. Also, please forgive me for speculating about a movie before deciding to go watch it.

Oh, sorry, we'll go talk to the screenwriters right away about changing the title of the movie to satisfy somebody who only watched the preview and is making judgements based off opinion.

You mean I did what every person who has ever gone to a movie does while trying to decide whether or not to go to it?! Shame on me! I'm such a terrible person!
Also I would like to note that the US doesn't get the movie until June 8, so yeah, let me just fly on over to the UK...
