The Builders

Accross the Landscape of Kiwike, Small monuments made of blackstone have begun to show, Each formed simply, yet if observed closely, One could see the impression of Fingers in the stone, As though it had been formed by a persons bare hands. On the top, A single hand print showed as though pressed there as though done just as the stone had settled.

Around the top, words in the common toung have been carved.

"Where are you? We two remain... Lost. Are there any of us left? We two remain..."

Some times, You could see another word, That loosely translated to "The Builders" and sometimes.. If one watched carefully, They could see the Specter that moved across the landscape. In some places he would leave a monument standing in others just tracks.

If anyone asked what he was doing, He would simply say "Lost.." And if asked where he was going, He would ask you in return.

"Where are The Builders?"

Blackstone monuments. Not small, trivial posts. High walls, Solid Battlements, Castles carved from Blackstone. Or perhaps shaped with hands. Many monuments have been swallowed by the shifting of the earth, The only way to hide such things, But others yet stand, all that is left of the Builders. But none of their kind remain in the land of Kiwike. None but two.

So after 24 hours of legging it around Kiwike I've managed to scatter a good few Obsidian Monuments around. Nothing special, but this is just step one. Note that some monuments I've placed with Gold blocks and Iron blocks (and perhaps more... >_>) so it is worthwhile to find. Some are hidden in Glaciers and some are actualy burried into mineshafts that someone hasn't finished yet.. Others are sitting at the bottom of lakes.

If you find one, Post the Co-ordinates and perhaps a bit of What your characters reaction would be. You can find it standing alone or you can make as though you had seen Alphonse actualy creating it. I'll respond with an appropriate post because these Monuments are supposed to be Magical in nature. They might react some way to certain actions.

If anyone wants to RP as one of the Sought after 'Builders' and join us, That would be simply amazing :3

Hint: The next step would be Burried Obsidian Battlements or castles. Literaly encased in rock, Or bits and peices sitting jagged above the surface of the landscape. What such structures mean... And just what kind of force could shatter Obsidian walls.. Remains to be seen.

Guys, The idea behind these Obolisks is that the letters are carved into the top. You aren't supposed to TAKE the letters inside otherwise no one knows what it says...

Take them and read them sure but put it back.

I am busy working on constructing my city in the desert, when I see a small, obsidian tower on top of a small hill in the distance. I immediately think "What is this, I haven't seen it before? why is there a random obsidian pile off in the distance?"

As I walk closer to it, I realize there is a chest on the top of it. Again I think "did someone hide their stuff in here? This would be the most stupid place to hide stuff."

When I finally walk up close to it, I open the chest and see nothing in it. I wonder "what could the purpose for this possibly be? Did someone from my nation build this?"

I shiver and return to my city to continue building; the structure is in the freezing snow right next to the warm desert of my nation. I intend to research this further, but for now I need to focus on finishing constructing my city.

The letters at the top of the Obolisk had been scored from the rock by someone who came before. As it was approached however, Whispers came from the stone none the less. Hovering around it like a fog.

"Where are the builders?"

But the shape that had approached was already walking away before anything could be heard. So it waited.

The Sword Of Andraste

A new Monument has begun to appear in various places around Kiwike. An upright blackstone statue, Resembling a sword with a bright blue stone embedded into the hilt on each side of the Monument.

In front of the Monument would stand a pedestal with words carved into it.

"The Builders abound with gifts... But be warned... theft will guarantee their Hatred..."

The statue radiated a... feeling. Guarded optimism. But if touched, It would change to a tense vibration in the air. A warning.
