Creating an avatar help

I need some help. I've tried several times to create an avatar for my account and every time it comes back with this message:
"The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again."
I'm not sure why this is happening, I am trying to upload a JPEG that is 100x100 pixels and 7KB. Can anyone help me?

Did you try turning off and turning it on again?

Is it the same file every time? Is it always in the same directory? You may want to rename the file and/or move it

I'm not sure what you mean by turning it off and on, but I tried moving the picture, renaming the picture, and I also tried an entirely different picture. The only thing that appears constant is the file type, all of the pictures I have tried have been JPEG files. Does it have to be something other than JPEG?

Avatar uploads are currently disabled. Try uploading it to another host, such as imgur and then use the link.

I tried uploading it to imgur and copying the image URL but it still doesn't work. I tried putting in this url: http://i.imgur.com/LNDpYs.jpg. Am I still doing something wrong?

I messaged Yotta about the same thing a few weeks ago. I tryed Imgur and other hosting sites aswell. I just gave up on it.

Still getting the error. Tried it again to see if it was still popping up, and it was.

If you're using an external site like imgur, you have to make sure your dimensions aren't too big.

They aren't, I already checked for mine too.
