So, heres what happened. I was going off to Eon and Or11's castle because I know of cobblestone that has been left there. (theres a lot in Or11's castle) When all of a sudden I see Alexandersp chillin there in the nether. (working on their castle) Now I know him as an enemy, he's a captain for Bowser and was working on the enemy castle, of course I'm going to kill him. So I go out and start heading over to Or11's castle thing when he starts coming back. I kill him (he is running at me repedatly and hitting me with only his fists) so I place a bucket of lava in front of his door, let it move around, and then pick it up. (this was after he kept hitting me, he wasnt getting anywhere, he was just annoying me, I wanted him to stop so I made him stop). I took away his bed and REPLACED it there again, which last I heard WAS allowed. Android said so before a while back when it happened to us and we reported it, he told us it is allowed as long as it's replaced where you broke it. WHICH I DID. I made sure there was no lava sources left when I left, and by the time I did leave, Alexandersp was gone (logged out) and I had already seen the lava had disappeared. There was no other grief going on there, infact, i went afk between his place and bowsers and came back (from dinner) to see I had died. (alexandersp killed me).

So, nothing here was against the rules. If there was, I'm sorry, the rules seem to change so much. I figured it was allowed, if you go back there and BLOCK CHECK you'll see, I can show you where I placed and PICKED up the lava. (which was only to get him to stop harrassing me with his fists.)

I wont do it again, if it really is against the rules. But last time I checked, placing lava down and picking it up is allowed. And replacing beds are also allowed. (Ive had it happened MANY times to me, I have asked a few mods, from everytime its been allowed)

Whoever complained about it said the bed was missing, or at least that's what I would imagine the case to be, otherwise the bed wasn't stolen, was it?

No, I replaced it right away, I just wanted him to stop hitting me so figured him traveling from the inn back here would give me a few extra minutes to get what I need and leave. Of course it didnt, he kept spawning there afterwards, thats when I decided to place the lava and replace it.

Oh, and Snooky, get on for a few, Lava is telling me (over skype) that we were griefed REALLY badly at Solitude, like tnt gone off in Nlewis/Pwols old house and Cobblestone placed everywhere. Get on and do a rollback or something, because it sounds bad. <3

According to Alexandersp, you did wait about half an hour to replace. The rules have never been clear on bed grief, and this was done based on the idea of removing the spawn. Also, using lava to spawnkill probably isn't a valid tactic, and may be banworthy by iteself

Sorry, using lava to stop him from killing himself may be, but it isnt.

And for two, you can go blockcheck that bed, I replaced it RIGHT when I took it up, like within 10 seconds. Go ahead, check it.

And essentially taking away beds so they remove their spawn is the ONLY reason to do so, its not like I'm being awful in doing so, as its been done multiple times by many people, and it is widely known that that is the only reason to do so, by not only me. The other people who have done so, had the same reasoning.

I dont think a ban is really necessary. Youre not a mod Leech, please leave. I want only the person this effected and the mods to reply, not some mod wana be who thinks he understands everything we do.

I didnt disobey the rules, I replaced my blocks, I didnt leave anything behind, and I didnt ruin anything. Sure, he was spawn trapped there for all 3-4 minutes, but all he was going to do was try to punch me to death, which doesnt work when you are using diamond armor. He was just wasting away my durability, and I wasnt going to let that happen, clearly. If this is agains the rules now, please clarify it, but from my understanding of the accusations and what happened, there is no reason for a ban here.

You know, I think the reason we disallow the removing of beds is to stop those who do it to remove someone's spawn. That said, maybe earlier when I said it was ok I was under the impression that your spawn would remain there if the bed was replaced, in which case it would have been fine. Otherwise, that's a form of grief, destroying their spawns in their own homes - not sure what to tell you about stopping wild attacks with only fists as soon as a person spawns.

Thats why I used lava after it, because removing their beds doesn't remove their spawn. He kept spawning there afterwords, so no harm was done.

And seriously... It was allowed from my understanding to take ones spawn away, as it happened to me and mods said it was kay. And what other point is there to removing ones bed... Anywho, there was no lava greif, bed was replaced right away, spawn stayed the same, it seems like theyre crying over nothing.

I think hes just mad I got his sharpness IV sword and some nice diamond armor off of him. He tried to bribe me into giving it back or he'd "get me banned" when I knew I hadnt broken any rules, atleast to my knowledge.
